Each language has a TA/AC (teaching assistant/activity coordinator) who will organize two language-specific activities per week. Activities are not mandatory, but we encourage students to take part in activities as much as possible to help broaden your language and cultural knowledge. Language-specific activities include movies and discussions in your target language, field trips to local areas of interest, and cultural celebrations. Most activities are scheduled during the week after classes, although some activities may be scheduled on the weekend.
In addition to language-specific activities, SILP also hosts program-wide events such as Trivia Night and a SILP Potluck where students can relax and mingle with students in other languages.
All activities will be shared via the SILP Calendar.
